The artist community is often divided by their different art-forms and often, creation itself is a solitary practice for many. Creative collaboration sessions brings together artists, creates space to explore ways of sharing their practices and opens new pathways in individual and collaborative creation.
Our workshop explores new approaches to improvisation in ensembles and between creators in different disciplines.
The workshop creates an environment where we're pushed for better listening to each other and to ourselves while in the process of creating. It has the power to show hidden qualities in one's practices, expose or strengthen leadership skills and give self confidence for future creative endeavors.
Creative collaborations sessions has been around since 2018. It ran in Edinburgh Room to Move, and for the second year this spring on No Fit State Circus' international residency: Circus Village in Wales.
Thanks to the Betty McAllister fund we're offering three workshops in The Space in Glasgow's East end till the end of this year. Please refer to the Events page.
